Default Best way to clear headlights

What is the best way to clear dull, yellow headlight plastic? I have seen videos on sanding them but am a bit worried to do that myself. Any suggestions? Thanks

I would pay $100-150 for a pro to refresh it. Otherwise spend $30 and try to do it yourself only to fail and waste your time. Yes it’s possible to DIY, but that’s my experience. Clear headlights are worth it.

A lot of threads in these forums on headlight restoration. If you’re interesting in accomplishing this yourself the right tools and a good product can make a big improvement in headlight clarity. I had success using Chemical Guys Headlight Restorer applied with a DA polisher and a medium pad (finishing with a light pad). If DIY doesn’t interest you, easy to pay a shop to do it.
