Default clear coat overspray!

My girlfriend bought a 2007 solar orange 350z. This particular car had a chip on the front fender, about .5 inch long. The dealership had it touched up and then shipped the car. Long story short, the chip is GONE but there is what appears and FEELS to be clear overspray over the entire fender, door, and rear fender. I just washed and waxed the entire car and clay bar didnt even remove the overspray.
I neeed help on how to fix this without messing up the entire car.

Thanks, Doug

If your not happy with it, just take it back to whoever did it and they should fix it for you. If not maybe wet sanding with very high grit paper them buffing will most likely take it off.

It can be salvaged, but by a professional body shop. I'd contact the dealership and have them fix it at their expense.

I wouldn't touch it with sand paper.. Just run a buffer over it with compound.it will be fine.. Cover your top so you don't get compound on it.. It WILL stain for weeks. If you don't have access to a buffer some rubbing compound and elbow grease will do.
