I am looking at purchasing a 2006 S2000 which the seller has listed as "formula red" in color. Are all model years the same red or did Honda change the "red" over the years? Thanks much.

 

as far as I know, the red is the same. There might be visual differences due to fading on the older models though.

 

should be the same.. NFR is NFR... if it was slightly differnt I believe they'd have to name it different.


having said that, fading also would be a factor to consider

 

same red throughout all years. Depending on if the car was garaged or not and properly wax'ed/clay'ed it will fade and have sort of an orange hue to it in the sunlight. I have seen this on some "well driven" red s2k's.
