Default Convertible top?

Lol well i have my 2000 s2000 stored away for winter in my heated garage, with the car cover and everything. Well i went to put my headunit in the other day and i went to take the top down and its like cracking loud noises and sounds like popping. Theres no rips or anything just loud crinkling noises. IS there any sort of conditioner for the top and for the back window so when i take this out in a month or two it doesnt rip?

Heat. My 01 top gets noisy when its realy cold, and the plastic will tend to get real hard and brittle as its gets older. You can get some RaggTopp conditioner to help ease the old top but your best bet is let it soak up some sun..

oh and if it is cold put your top about half way down, just till the window is about to fold, and push the middle of it so it wont crack help it make the fold , S200 and Boxsters all have the same problem with the plexi glass breaking
