Front fender damage
Paint is peeling, so I thought I better fix this sooner than later to prevent rusting.
Bodyshop says both fenders will need painting, the whole thing. Is painting the whole fender the only way to solve this? I asked if they could just paint and fix the damage'd areas at the top and they said it might come out looking ok initially, but eventually it will look different than the rest of the fender (especially with white cars and the sun). Said something about blending on a white car is hard.
Thoughts?

first they are going to have to roll the inner lip because that is the area that your tire is grabbing and pulling down when the wheels are turned which cause the paint to crack being that the car is lowered. they then will have to sand out the cracks and buckled area and straighten those areas out. so when you have to do that you then have to prime the area, so that being said they will blend the white in the repaired area and spray clear coat over the entire fender. good luck with your repair!
