Well, I ordered the OEM wing and got shipped a lip. The more I place it on my car, the more it is starting to grow on me. But you sorta want something you want right? Not have it grow on you? Anyone have both or prefer one over the other?

I know at certain angles the wing does look out of place. But having to drill right into the center of the trunk. Ugg..doesn't sound fun.

 

Did you pay more for it? I think the lip costs more and if you paid the price o the spoiler you got a deal! Lip is better plus get the wing later from the savings.

 

yeah if it was less keep it, if it was more send it back and get what you want.

Lips always looks good one these cars, AP1 or 2!

 

oops, actually the thread was reversed. I ordered a Wing and got the lip. Wing's were the 500 dollar ones, lips were less. And I was going to keep it and just install this wknd, but fate stepped in! I ran into my exact car parked at a shopping area with the 'wing' installed. It looked pretty clean. So I decided I'm gonna send back the lip. I wish I could keep them both and swap them back and forth!

 

U ordered the wing and got the rear lip spoiler?? If so wing > lip spoiler

U need a front lip if your gonna have the wing tho

 

@Suzuka Yup, I did the front lip first, installed it a few weeks ago. The wing will just make the car complete =) The lip is getting ready to be shipped back.
I completely agree, wing > lip. I just followed the advice of my wife. "send it back, I saw the look on your face when you opened it". heh she was correct! Out of sheer laziness I was just going to install the lip. You know what would be cool, is if I just did the 2 drills on the side, and swap out the lip or the wing, depending on mood.
