I just got my car painted and bought a Forbidden OEM style hard top. I bought the glass rear window and had it installed at the same time. I did not like the way the glass looked ,particularly on the back lower edge. I called Forbidden and they say that Honda sells a gasket that goes around the outer edge of the glass. I bought the gasket and am having a heck of a time putting it on with the rear window installed. I got the bottom edge on but am having trouble making it go around the corners and head up the sides to the top.
it would be nice if Forbidden or Ballade had mentioned that the gasket was needed before we installed the glass.
i thought about heating the gasket with a heat gun or using Honda’s Shin grease.

Have any of you done this or will the glass need to be removed?
