Default help with stripping wheels

Im in the process of stripping a set of wheels that were repainted over the factory paint. I bought the aircraft remover, it worked good to remove the paint that was sprayed over the original paint. But now it seems to not be doing anything when i put more on. Am i doing something wrong or so i need a different stripper?

i used the aircraft remover and it worked great you really have to cake it on there with a paint brush and let it sit somewhere hot for about 10 minutes then get a plastic paint scrapper ( got them at auto zone ) and just scrap it off and for the tough to get to spot i used paint thinner and a 3m scratch pad thing and just soaked the pad in the paint thinner then scrubbed the rest off.
