Default How to repair scrap?

Got a scrap on the passenger side of my front bumper and I wanna know what grit sand paper should I use etc before I hit it with some form of touch up paint. I want it to be perfect but at the same time its the corner that isn't very noticed except when its like this because its just the black color of the scrap that stands out.

Suck man. You can smooth it out with a 800 or so. You could even take a heat gun to it so melt it a bit (watch the paint)

Just one good source on line, there are others as well. This site also has tutorials on painting and the prep involved, plus Youtube has some good one's as well on painting.
