Default No experience or concept of whats possible

I've seen a lot of builds and realize that pretty much ANYTHING is possible if enough money is thrown at it. The issue of paint is becoming more of a subject now that my S is about to turn 10. My bumper and hood have a good deal of paint chips, not that they are really visible, but every time I wash/wax, each imperfection is like a sore thumb. I also have a toothpick sized area where the paint chipped off the passenger fender when my tire caught it and bent the inner lip of the fender out. I carefully rolled it back in so it doesnt look misshapen, but it has waves to it. From what I've seen people do with rolling their fenders I know it can be fixed.

The issue is that most of the people that do this have an established relationship with a body shop, and are able to sand/primer/bondo? these parts before taking it to the shop. I have misc dents on the car, some in some more strange places where I cant imagine the dents can be pulled, and have no idea as to how someone would go about repairing that area.

My soft top is removed completely since it was tattered with holes and I went with a full time Mugen replica HT. The only fitment issues I have with it is at the passenger side latch area. The fiberglass area has cracked slightly since the metal threads for the latch screws seems to have been cross threaded or torqued down too hard by the previous owner of the HT, so I assume if its salvageable, it will need to be sanded down, filled with a resin of some sort and re-shaped as well as having the threaded area corrected so that it doesnt happen again.

The big question to all of this, is I have no concept of the work involved to correct these small issues, and if its something that I should just live with, or would it be worth the cost to repair it, or should I just buy a new bumper/fenders/hardtop.

I'll be glad to go snap some pics of the areas I'm talking about if it helps any, but I'm just kinda trying to get a little feedback for now.

best bet would prob be to take it to a couple body shops and see what they quote you to repair those things. then from there you can decide if its better for you to repair or buy all new stuff
