OEM hardtop ding magnet?
I have had my hardtop for about 5 months now and I am getting all these random dings on the top of my hardtop(four penny sized now). I don't park under a pine tree and my car is garaged 100% of the times, beside work. It doesn't seems to be man made and I don't recall hearing rocks hitting my hard top on the freeway. WTH???

It has to be from some form of impact, the hardtop is aluminum so it can be dented easily, more so than the vehicle body and our vehicle bodies are very easily dinged (Japanese sheetmetal is famous for this).

Someone may be putting stuff on the roof briefly. Example: wife pulls into garage and pulls stuff out on onto roof. Closes door on her car, removing the stuff just placed on the roof of your S so she can get inside.
Can also be kids playing with a ball or something. Catch with a dog. Don't forget cats like to get on top of cars. I hate cats.
