OK, I'll continue this thread. I have the OEM rear wing that I would like to replace with the OEM trunk spoiler. Will the outside bolts on the spoiler line up with the existing bolt holes for the wing? If so, I should be able to unbolt the wing and bolt the spoiler right on. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Just ordered my oem spoiler today, hope to have it on asap.. How do you guys know how far back to mount it if you don't use the mounting holes??

And how do you prep the area for the tape, I assume waxing isn't ideal like the installation from Honda suggest..

You could wash your trunk with dawn to get rid of the wax, or wipe the rear of the trunk with a alcohol pad.. As for lining it up...I eyed it.

Thanks for the reply.. But does the spoiler go alllll the way to the edge of the trunk or do you leave a little gap between it and the third brake light??

1) do i have to cut off the nut pins of the oem trunk spoiler if i want to fix it only with 3M tape?

2) can i be sure that the 3M tape won't damage my painting at all???
thats very important. dont want to let paint the trunk again.

havent done any experience with 3M tape

Works perfectly fine, with no damage to the trunk paint, mine has been on for over 4 years and I've taken it off to paint about 2 years ago.

Just unbolt all the pins apply the 3m right round. Line up correctly as you only get one chance. I found staggering the tape back in small corners the best, then once aligned pull of the backing in stages.

I ordered the same spoiler from Honda and wanted to install it using the bolts, but I wasn't very confident on how to drill the center ones.

This is the guide that I ended up following. It was easy. https://www.handa-accessories.com/S2000/s2kspoiler.pdf
