Default Painted Spark Plug Cover

I thought this subtle mod would add a nice touch, the letters started to look crappy so I painted them.

Did you paint the letters with a paint brush? From a distance it looks good.

Came out good. Did the same with mine but used NFR touchup pen/paint. Scurf up the letters then traced in and then finished of with a high temp clear to keep it from flaking off.

Nice!

I used an oil based paint marker. I tried to prep as much as possible but my the writing had corroded leaving an uneven surface, yours came out great!

wasn't happy with how it came out.. not OEM enough. I sanded the lettering down all the way to 2000 grit and gave it a mirror like finish. Looks really nice! I will post pictures soon.
