Default PDR Rear Quarter panel

Hello, I was hoping someone could answer this question from experience. I have a small ding along the car line and was told told by a PDR specialist the dent can be pulled but the best route is to drill a small hole where the door closes to access a place of leverage. Does anyone know if this area can be be accessed without tapping a hole? I tried taking off some of the paneling but still doesnt look like there is a clear line to access this area. Anyone have any input? The picture below is just a reference of where the ding is located. Thanks

thanks for the reply. Were you in a similar scenario? If so what did you end up doing?

My father in law does pdr for a living and he cleaned up some dings on mine in a similar area. A plastic plug now fills the hole he drilled to access them. Now it's there for the next time a ding needs to be cleaned up.

I believe an alternate method to using the rods is glue pulling but I don't know how / Why / when this method is used vs. rods.

I've seen similar dings on the same body line but closer to the tail light. PDR specialists would take the tail light out for better access and use a long pole/stick to help get the ding out. Maybe that's an option here?

Either way, I've had a hole drilled/tapped in the door jamb before and did not have a negative experience with that. GL OP.
