Poor quality paint?
. Fixing rock chips is not my favorite thing to do and it seems that I have a LOT more after polishing my car a month ago.
I just picked up my '03 BB S2K with 93k miles. For the age of the car I expect the original paint and front end to be in ruff shape. I have a lot of small chips in my passenger front fender, hood and front bumper. In the future I am looking to get the entire car resprayed to fix all this.
same here, my bumper is freckled with rock chips, i really just want to get new front bumper, and random chips in my food, mirrors, fenders and a few on my doors as well. i have an 06 ssm s2k. but glad my car is silver just cause you can't notice it as much as the darker colors. i talked to my friend with an accord, he said he had the same problem too?
damn.. i thought my roads were bad..
lol
i have quite a few chips like the rest of you.
i try to spend some time once every few weeks to fill em in with touch up paint at least to make it less noticeable.
i agree that its prob just the way the car was designed.
keeping some distance between you and the person in front of you does seem to help. esp if the person in front of you is a giant dump truck.
i try to drive in empty lanes.
