Removing front/rear H emblems
I've been contemplating painting my badges satin black (with a clear coat) on my Sebring Silver car. The side badges look to be easily removed with the standard dental floss/goo gone technique. The front and rear "H" emblems however are secured by two clips each behind the bumper and trunk lid. Are those clips able to be removed and salvaged, removed and replaced, or is the whole emblem written off when trying to remove them?
Thanks for any information on their removal.

I can actually see the 'nuts' on the rear 'H' but they appear to be pressed on. I can only feel the front retainers but assume they are the same or similar style. I'm wondering if these can be removed without destroying the 'nuts' or the emblem?
Some of the emblems have metal tabs that are slid onto plastic pins. You have to get in there with a small screwdriver and bend the metal so it slides off the pin. It's easier if you have the front bumper off. But even if the pins break you can still use the badges, just use 3M double sided tape to hold them on. The pins are mostly an alignment guide.
If you're careful and patient you can remove them intact. If you're like me you'll break at least one. As stated above, get the 3M molding tape.
