Removing Soft-Top
I know if you would take the roof off of a car that is not a convertible somehow it would handle like shit because its built to be supported with those dimensions.
Does this apply for soft-tops?
And of-course i mean in particular the s2000. I have seen one person on the forums so far with it done and he said it was done before he bought the car.
Does anyone know if taking the soft top of the convertible negatively effect the car?
And how complicated is the process.

It will have no effect on the car, the chassis was built with an open top in mind. The soft top frame dose nothing but keep the rain off you head. It's not a complicated process. I'm sure there's a DIY some where here on the forums for a soft top replacement. Just use that as a guide.
I drove down to richmond to my tuner without a hard top or soft top I could feel the difference the car didn't feel as "stiff" to me. With my oem hard top on I could not tell a difference with the soft top removed. Putting my soft top frame back in it did feel better but that is just me.
