Bringing up this old thread.
Im having some issues with the Shine "Spoon" bumper. Cant get it to fit between the bumper support, as shown here:
I was told I had to cut off some of the bumper support on my car in order to make the foglight mounting to fit under it.
I just need a second opinion before i do anything stupid.
So, this is what i have to trim/remove from my bumper support?

I know i'm a new member but i have many years under my belt as an enthusiest, from what i've seen in these pics the out of box fitment issues are pretty much standard unless you get the uber expensive made to order stuff thats got more R.D. time in them than it takes to actualy make the pieces. I've done a few full kits and 98% of the time they never just bolt on and go. I bought an authentic INGs kit for my STi and i still had fitment issues
This was the front bumper right out of the box:
This was after about 8 hours of cutting sanding shaping etc:
The only time I ever had a kit go on with maybe 1-2 hours of sanding work was my friends Evo 7 front end conversion and they only reason that wasnt a pain was b/c it was an authentic JDM front bumper, just needed some shaping around the headlights.
I am curios tho, I am a new S2000 owner (march-present) the one thing i noticed is the rear bumper is very flimsey right behind the rear wheels and there is no rear wheel well cover. Is this normal?
