hey guys i've been trying to find a thread with this issue but have not had any luck finding a fix for this. I'm sure it should be common but after I close my top the last tube(the closest one to the rear glass) comes attached to the next one on the front, I have to manually put it back so it goes into its place nothing out of this world but still annoys me to do it every time, also my straps are not in the best condition dont know if that would help. I'll leave some pictures thanks in advance if any of you guys have a fix for this.

Appears the springs (I think) are broken or stretched out.....

 

do you mean the straps? if so will a modrify strap fix it?

 

Tbere should be vinyl straps attached to that bar ob eah side. These straps are attached to the hard cradle the softtop drops into. As the top is raised, the straps will stop the advancement of ghat bar just in front of the rear window.
