So i'm thinking about getting a lip and wing mounted on my 07 ap2. I'm buying a seperate trunk from mine (ap1 lid) and having a shop install the wing. I dont need any special parts or anything do I? no trunk reinforcements or weather stripping? What about the ap2 lip? any special items i need to get? any input would be greatly appreciated! thanks guys!

 

As far as the spoiler (AP1 style) no trunk reinforcements are needed as far as I know. I have one on my AP2 and haven't had any problems. Trunk still pops so I can lift it up. The AP2 lip, as long as you're getting OEM, comes with absolutely everything you need. I'm not very good at these install things but I was able to put on the front lip by myself. It's actually quite easy. It also comes with the black weatherstripping so no need to worry. Why are you buying a separate trunk?
