Default Thinner double sided tape?

I went rear first into a ditch and ruined the trunk. My Tamon wing stayed intact and it'll go on the new trunk but regular double sided tape is thicker than the tape Tamon uses and will cause a gap. My body guy said he can't get anything that thin. Has anyone had to transplant theirs or purchased a used wing and found tape that will sit flush? Thank you in advance - Jeremiah

Your best bet is to use 3M molding tape, these come various thicknesses and widths.

Thanks Steven...I'm sure one of those will work. I looked on the 3M site earlier but got lost in a bunch of other crap that wasn't even close lol. I'll just call 3M and order one of those and see which works. I appreciate the help. - Jeremiah
