Default Using POR15

Who has experience with POR15? Is a can of this stuff reusable? I didn't know if you had to add a hardening agent or something that would leave you with a can you must you now or if I could use a little now and a little later.

Anyone know?

I've used POR to do the underside of a few car I've worked on. The stuff is great. I've always reused it and also found its best to brush on with a foam brush and wear junk clothes. I was also told that it should be painted over if it's anywhere to be seen. Apparently the UV light reacts with it.

ive used it multiple times on my 240sx's in the past. It's a great product! Just make sure when your done using it that you clean any paint that dripped in or on the rim before resealing it. Otherwise you wont be able to reopen the can..

Thanks! For now it will only be used on the underside of a few things. Nothing that's going to see sunlight.

I have used POR 15 extensively on many different projects. Prep is KEY. Follow the directions implicitly. The winter rims i stripped still look great 2 years later. However, surfaces exposed to sun need to be overcoated with another layer of paint.

Absolutely great product when used correctly.
