Default Would touch up paint work for this?

Hey guys,

I got backed into - hit and run of course - and it left a hefty scuff on my bumper. It went clear down to the plastic in some parts, with gouges as well.

Was wondering if touch-up would fix it? Or would I have to get that properly resprayed?

I hate people!!

Get paint thinner and wipe it down. Use some polish/wax to see what scuffs come out. Then apply your touch up paint to the areas that need it. The points where it is to the plastic will need multiple layers of touch up In order to achieve the LBP color.

Sorry this happened but you should be ok.

I've personally had bad luck with touch up paint. It never quite turns out how I want it. But do the steps mentioned above and if you don't like just respray

Thanks for the help guys! I'll start researching proper Touch up application. I found a really good one on the Youtube Drive network. Seems to be quite tedious work.

This process looks time consuming but most likely will yield the best results.

For a proper work it will take about a month, patience is key. But it does look easily repairable.
