true but the steel insert is still threaded into the aluminum caliper.

Impossible to find that specific set screw. The ones I took out are stripped from the loctite and shitty Allen size. It's crazy how I can't find them

I was thinking why not but a bleeder in the hole instead of finding a plug. so you would have two bleeders the top one to bleed the brakes and the bottom one just to plug the hole. could always change when you find the plug if it bothers you

I'm more worried by overuse. I change out my brake discs every track/autox day.

I have giro disc front rotors. I wonder if I can purchase a larger diameter ring and swap them on the rotors hub. What size was the to type s rotor? 310?

Correct they're 310mm but you may need a full new set. The offset may throw things off on your original rotors.

Small update: Brakes are holding up pretty good so far. This is with 3 track days ( 8psi ctsc ap1) and over 10xxxkms. I'm now in contact with Racing Brake and Girodisc to see if they have an option to fit the correct rotor size (310x25mm).

Edit: Good news! Racing Brake already carries a rotor made for this application! Its available in the link below. I have updated the first post with this as an option aswell. Enjoy!

I am in the process of doing this swap as well, I have the 05 NSX Front Rotors but will the extra thickness of the rotor surface itself cause the pads to rub? The TL Rotor Thickness is 25mm and the NSX is 28mm?

I just get a hand on a TL caliper sets , but seem to have a lot of different setup , if I understand right its that I can keep my oem disck and just take off 7mm from the caliper bracket and its done? the diameter of the s2000 disk is not smaller than the nsx ? if I keep my oem disck did the caliper gonna have a full surface ? thanks

How does this rotor's height (made for the civic SI) compare to the S2K's? In other words, does the hat position rotor in the same position?

Just dropped off my calipers to the machine shop. I told them to mill off 5mm of the mounting ears and then do the time serts So I can reuse my stock mounting bolts. I hope 5mm is enough. It would be a pain if I needed to mill off more.
