These are advertised as 10k spring rates, so if they are "softer" than stock that's a red-flag testament to the quality of the damper.

I think the point there is that if you're just looking to lower the car, buy lowering springs...then you still have the great quality OEM dampers to do their job and not putting on dampers that are sub-par to stock. If you're looking to just slam the shit out of a honda...buy a civic.

I put $300 coilover sleeves on my celica gts when I had it...worst $300 I ever spent.

Yawn... Or my 110k mile stocks were blown an settled -.-' don't worry guys don't buy cheap, Hondas should only run bling bling parts never buy anything cheap or fake because people will flame on you. It's funny because BMW guys love fake parts but Honda guys hate it! They sell oem style lips painted for 180 shipped while we are trying to impress people with our oem lips for 300+ some people prefer different things and I will not spend parts on a car to have my Parts out weigh the value of my car keep it cheap and keep it simple

you have to realize, if they sell for 300 bucks, eBay takes some $, PayPal takes some $, the seller has to make some money or break even, how much did these coils originally cost? $100-150? maybe 200. I'd just get some springs than some low budget coilovers

I agree totally but unfortunately you can't convince these guys. It's like the phrase "you can take the girl out of the trailer park but you cant take the trailer park out of the girl". Some of these guys will never grow out of the Civic mentality and ultimately never extract the true potential of this fine machine.

jonmizu - so how are they now?
Also agree with the fact that some honda owners put themselves in debt just to be cool, but I think why mod when the S2k is a great car already.

Do you really think that a set of $300 coil overs can out perform the OEM suspension? Honda had like 20000 engineers working on the S2000 and its various parts. Don't put shit on your cars, this isn't a KIA.
