Default Any Tips and tricks changing kwv3 springs to swift?

Hi all,

Was wondering if anyone has any tips or tricks when it comes to changing the kwv3 standard springs to the swift 65mm x 152mm springs, which are 12mm longer than the factory kw springs.

Any help is appreciated thanks.

The only difference is that they are 12mm (.47") longer? What tips are you looking for?

The perch height is adjustable...so...you'd just adjust it 12mm lower if the springs are 12mm longer and have the same rate.

FYI, Hypercoil 60mm 5.5 or 6" springs fit perch perfectly. Not sure about swift 65mm. If they measure the same as Hyperco, that would be a bit loose on the perch. Why not run hyperco ? 650/550 is a great setup, and $240 shipped from GT motoring. 2 off full stiff compression front, 1 off full stuff compression rear, 1 off full stiff rebound front, 3 off full stiff rebound rear

You have plenty of room with the slightly longer spring. Just lower the collar the difference in length to start and you should end up pretty darn close to where you were before.
