Default Bilstein PSS9 installation

just order some new Bilstein PSS9
is there anything i need to know b4 i tackle the job

It's a very basic coilover installation, set the coils full low for the top hat installation when you swap over the oem top hats. Loosen the upper control arm bolts and torque them to spec them with the suspension pre-loaded on a jack. The installation instructions from Bilstein are kind of junk, there are some good DIY threads on this site. Note that the coilovers will settle over time, so you will be setting the final height after a few drives and after some time passes. hope this helps. See links below

make sure you get the front and rear ride height ratios measured so you don't throw off the balance too much

since you are going to need an alignment; might as well check to make sure you don't need any suspension bushings - don't want to do that again if you don't have to

i'd get the DC2 Type R top hat bushings for replacement since you are suppose to reuse the factory top hats as well

might as well invest in some bumpsteer spacers as well since you are going to need an alignment

thx for the respond

yea was gonna replace the top hat bushing with some new oem ones

not a daily driver so ima check all the bushing once i start breaking it down but thx for the heads up. will post pic up later after done
