Just a quick question to biohazard... What do you use on the streets? Because cobalts suck on the streets. I've started swapping them out with the oem ap1 pads but would like to upgrade for the streets how do the ebc redstuff compare to the yellows in terms of street use if anyone knows (just like the fact of little to no brake dust OE offer) so I guess my questions is do the yellows dust a lot/ squeal?

ebc yellows will work for the street, red might be better. I would actually get axxis ult cermaics for daily, they don't dust too badly. Fortunately for me my CR is for the track only. I only take it out on public roads once in a blue moom.

well if you recommend the axxis brakes i think i will try those (and any difference between the ultimates and the ceramics?) how does the pedal feel compare to the cobalt because recently I've been using the HP+ as a daily driver and have about the same pedal feel as I do with the cobalts. and thanks for the advice

axxis ult are the ones to get, pedal feel will be similar but do not bite as hard as the hp+ or cobalts. They are great for daily use or for auto cross as well.

I prefer ferodo DS2500 for hard street driving and hard track use, if you are very hard on brakes on track (i am) then use ferodo DS3000.
Both are fine for road use, but DS2500 are less noisey and give less dust then DS3000

EBC Yellow is fine for the street; Red would be better but definitely insufficient for any track work. But I'm leaning more towards Boihazard's assessment that the Yellow Stuff doesn't hold up too well for hard braking on longer tracks. I got lots of fade with my 50% EBC pads this past Sunday and I'm looking to try something new. I was considering the Dixcel RA pads. Anyone have impressions one way or the other?
