Brake system light wont go out.
As its says, this light wont go out.
Changed the brake fluid today, no problems and took the car for a quick spin and after a few times of pressing the brakes (that were rock solid and pulling up straight) the brake system light came on.
Checked the fluid level when i got home and that was ok.
After a bunch of google-fu it could be any of the possible:-
Low fluid - Checked and fine.
Low pressure due to air in the system - Re-bled and again no air.
The float in the fluid reservoir is stuck - checked and it moves freely.
Tried turning it off and on again - still stays on.
Tried disconnecting the battery for 20 minutes - Still on.
Disconnected the connector at the master cylinder - Still on.
Anybody got any ideas before i start hitting things with hammers?

Sorted.
After taking time out and gathering my thoughts i went over everything i had tried to no avail.
Eliminated the handbrake being the problem by trying to lower the roof with the handbrake on and off. It would only work with the handbrake on.
So i went back to the fluid reservoir and had another poke around at the float, yes it was moving around before but it must have not been coming all the way up previously and with the filter base being angled and touching it that was enough to keep the light on.
So it was a combination of turning the filter around and getting the float all the way up.
