Yeah I just went ahead and got the Megans with camber correction, interested in the wider track as well. $180 shipped free off ebay seller, so not too bad.

Would a simple plate work to correct the RCA without any negative effects? Camber should be the same as before, right?
How thick should the plate be? How much offset do the J's or Hardrace front RCAs have?

The shim plate i have and think is typical is 3/8" on the offset joint/kit. I don't see why a plate at that thickness with longer bolts couldn't be used to stack with the stock joint. Camber might increase a tad due to the upper control arm angle change unless your running coilovers and you lengthen them to retain current ride height. That's the only way your effect RC anyway, otherwise its just a further ride lowering aid.

Then I think I will try this. I don't need more camber in the front and it's a cheaper solution than buying the whole kit from Hardrace.
It's 8mm according to the Hardrace website: https://www.hardrace.com/Product_detail.asp?id=1069

The HR and Megan RCA's are $200-230.

Cheaper than THAT, you need??

You can also buy a kit actually designed for customizing camber angles for the upper arms. These work more effectively and they're like $130-200.

A set of spacers is easily made by milling, laser cutting or water jet...I think this will be less than 40 Euros.

Yes...if you already have a .dxf and access to a cutter...

But the spacer only adds some tiny amount of camber only as a result of lower ride height and extended angle...

its not efficient or effective.

For under $200, effective options are available, bruv

As I mentioned before, I don't need more camber, I just want to correct the roll center.
And for that a spacer with the OEM joint is equally effective as a new joint like Hardrace.

A 3d model and a dxf file is no problem for me, a friend has a milling machine and I still have some aluminum left which I could use.
That is the easiest way for me.

If you got the resource to make your own plates I think that is great way to go, keeping OEM ball joint should definitively be a bonus.
I know B loves his OEM stuff
