Default Coilovers

I have a 2001 s2k with 90k miles. My car squeaks when I go over bumps and such. I'm thinking of replacing my stock shock absorbers with some coilovers. I'm not looking to spend too much but want a good product. Any suggestions?

Depends what you're looking for. A good daily driver setup are the bilstein pss9's. A lot of people also like the Buddy Club N+ coilovers for street. For track you'll want to invest in a high quality monotube setup.

IMHO, go with a Koni yellow set up. the shocks are quite affordable and have proven to be quite good. you can reuse your old components. Some reading of independent shock testing shows that off the shelf koni yellows are closely valved to match. the same cannot be said about these other "JDM" coilovers. in any case i think the Koni yellows would be a good place to start. you can grow with the shocks and get them rebuilt and revalved later on when you feel that you need more performance out of them.
