did you preload the control arm bushings when you tightened everything down?

CR springs are known to sit much higher in the front.

I just did the swap last month into my '02 AP1. Virtually identical height before and after.

This.

I installed my CR springs/shocks on my AP1, and they will sit very high in the front if the suspension isn't preloaded when tightening the fasteners.

yea, make sure to loosen the top two control arm bolts and compress the shock to your desired height (measure from center of hub to tip of the fender) and then tighten the control arm bolts to the correct torque.

AP1 with CR shocks and springs. No visual difference from stock AP1. Yeah maybe if you measure, the CR stuff leaves you a little higher. But if you can tell with out measuring, you need to take your eyeballs to NASA or Lockeed Martin they can use someone like you. To the OP my guess is as stated, the suspension was tightened without being loaded (car on the ground or jacks used to load if in the air).
