Default Differences between pads-AP1,AP2,CR

Ok, so I've got to replace my pads soon on MY03.

When reading a bunch of threads there appears to be no consencus about a better pad than the OEM that would be better for light track use and autocross, but still be good for the street.

So, the Honda dealer tells me that the rotors and calipers for the AP1, AP2, and CR are all the same based on part numbers.

Also, the rear pads for AP1, AP2, and CR are the same based on part numbers.

The front pads are the same for AP2 and CR, but it's a different part number for the AP1.

Anyone know the difference?

Thanks

I know the ap1 pads will create less brake dust than the ap2's. That info is on here somewhere.

Edit:

Do a search in the Under the Hood section. Lots of threads on oem pads.
