Default EBC Brake Issues

I am using EBC Red Stuff Brake Pads as an all around pad based on the recommendation of an S2000 owner, who regularly tracks his car, and tested many different Pad and Rotor combinations. I am happy with them, but, when I recommended them recently I was told they had too many issues.

I went back and did a search on them and found a couple people posted issues a while back, and many posts by people who hadn't used them, but, said they had read that they had issues.

I was wondering how many people have actually had issues with the EBC brake pads, so I created the above poll.

you might want to ask at UK forum.
EBC is not very popular in USA but in UK there a lot of guys use them.

I know they are a UK company, but, EBC has a new plant here in Cleveland, OH.

I like the idea of buying local. So I bought EBC pads from Summit Racing which is also located less than an hour from my house.

Thanks for your feedback, but, I think the 'Brake and Suspension' forum, is the appropriate place for a poll about brakes.

I have the yellows, work well on the track, but they must get hot, when they are cold or used on the streets, stopping can be scary.

From what I have heard, EBC does not manufacture in the US. Are you positive that they are making pads in Cleveland or it just offices/distribution facility?
