Fortune Auto 500 Series Coilover Review
#561
Ordered my set from Kamispeed on 8/20, they were shipped out on 8/28 and I received them on 9/3. Great customer service from Kamispeed as well as Fortune, although I only asked simple questions. Went with FA 500 with FA springs at 10k all around and 12k valving. Install was extremely straightforward and took me about 2 1/2 hours to complete with a friend.
One thing to remember to do is either have zip-ties or two extra nuts for the brake line holder because stock suspension has a threaded bracket to hold the brake line while FA's is just a bracket. I didn't have time to go to Home Depot so I just zip-tied it for the time being. Only set it at 1-inch lower than stock suspension, measuring the length of the OEM shock and adjusting the coils to 1-inch shorter than that. Was very pleased to have new nuts for the top hats as well as the bottom mount
Ride Impression:
I've only driven it from LA to OC today to try to help the coils settle and they do feel a lot smoother than my worn OEM shocks, but were a bit bouncy on some of the freeways due to the uneven roads. I'm waiting for the coils to settle in before I mess around with the damping but they rode great on stock settings, but I will definitely be stiffening up all four corners. I will not be participating in a track event anytime soon, the earliest being November or possibly 2016 due to finding out a lot of my bushings are worn while installing them.

My FA coilovers are still going strong. My only caution though for anybody buying these is that the body is MUCH larger in diameter than stock shocks. This isn't really a problem on the rear, but the fronts are limited in how high you can set them. You CANNOT raise the front to stock ride height because the shock body will contact the upper control arm and the mounting boss for the swaybar endlink on the lower control arm while the suspension droops. I'm at 13.25" at the front with 12k springs and that is the highest ride height I can get. I still have light contact marks on the shock body from making contact with the UCA.

Go 12/11 or 13/12, from what I read you want the spring rates very close and fine tune with setting them and sway bars not spring rates. I have 13/12 on fortune springs, rides fine, goes around track lol.
