Default Front Camber Discrepancy

Hey all, trying to trouble shoot some camber issues. I’d like to get a little bit more front camber for front grip. The car is lowered to 560 mm from fender lip to bottom of wheel lip. I am running hard race camber adjusters without roll center plates installed. I am running into an issue where driver side I max out at -3.8* and on the passenger side maxes out at -3.2*. Currently I’m evened out at -3.2* and I’d like to get to -3.5* if possible.

Is this the approximate max camber for my ride height? I was thinking I’d get closer to -4.0* max. Is this discrepancy concerning? Should I be looking for bent control arms or spindles? The thrust angle at least looks visually straight. Will adding the roll center plates change max camber at all once leveled back to my original height?

Thanks in advance!

If you're 200% sure that the subframe is centered, then you might try looking at a new spindle next. Maybe yours is slightly bent.

I had the exact same issue. I am using hardrace RCA's and Spoon subframe collars.

One side was fine to go -3.8. The other one maxed out ~3.2.

Popped a spare spindle on...and voila. -3.8 on both sides.

Funny you mentioned this, was in SoCal about a week ago, and stopped by ZeroAutoFactory in La Habra, and my buddy Son that works there, showed me a jig he designed to check for this very thing, if the upright / knuckle / spindle is tweaked. I would never have guessed that this is something unique to these chassis.

Ride height from side to side and or caster discrepancy could effect your camber range as well. Putting in the roll center spacers and then re compensating ride height with your coilovers wont have any camber change if done precisely. So that wont do it for you. Not unless you leave the coilovers alone and live with the lower ride height, It wont add much camber though with just the 3/8" spacer or whatever it is. Might get you to -3.5 tops. Just depends on where in the wheel travel sweep you are starting from.

Yeah, the spindle is the first thing to bend if there's an incident of some sort.

I think some people started bending spindles just from tyre grip, since the 200TW category turned way more sticky recently.

In-wheel suspension problems. This kinda shit would never happen to an Integra lol

Thanks all for the suggestions. I’ve read it can be pretty hard to eye ball bend suspension components until you pull them off. I’m pretty sure I at least have some sort of bent geometry at the back too since there’s a huge discrepancy on the lower cup positions in the back left to right. But since the rear has more camber range it hasn’t been an issue.

I do remember hitting a massive pot hole on that side, big enough to crack both oem wheels. I know the rear wheel had scratches on the inside of the barrel so I think it did make some sort of contact with an element of the suspension. I don’t have the wheels with me to check about the front though.
