Default Help for adjusting

I'm going to buy a new coilover kit for my S2K, and this is my first time ever that I tune the sunspension set up of a car. I'm trying to decide among the Tein Flex, Tein Mono Flex, and the Buddy Club Racing Spec Damper. In my city streets are in very bad conditions and I can't have a too stiff set up. Both of them have 15/16 way of damping force adjustability, and I need to know wich ratio I have to chose for the street and wich one for the track?

Thanks

Best bet is to google your question and add s2ki.

As with all setups it will be a trial and error method to find what feels best for you. In general, the softer settings will be more gentle but induce more bounciness. Going too soft may not be great for the street because it will bounce around and not settle out quick enough. Start somewhere around 25% from full soft for street use and see what you think. If its too harsh, adjust softer. If its too bouncy, try stiffer.

Maybe I've found a topic about, I mean: among ratio 1 and 16 of the Tein Flex for example, wich number is softer and wich one is harder? Wich is the right number ratio for the street, and wich one is right for the track?

Typically people refer to the lower number as the softer setting... 1 being full soft (all the way counter-clockwise). People will say something like "10 from full soft" meaning that you start at full soft and go up 10 clicks more stiff.

In general, soft (or lower numbers) is for street and stiff (higher numbers) is for track/autox.

I hope I am answering your questions.
