Default Help needed identifying a brake part

Hi all, found this pinch like thing on the right front brake caliper, none of the other calipers have it, does anyone know what this is? Thanks.

Looks like the wear indicator.....which should be the INSIDE pad, not on the outside. Whoever put those pads on simply mixed up the inbound and outbound pad. Luckily, it didn't make contact with your wheel. In theory you could swap them back, but only if they're wearing perfectly flat (no tapering of the pad material). Not sure if I'd mess with that though. Pads are cheap enough though, you could just put a new pair on that axle for $40.

Yep, those are the wear indicators.
