After looking at my last alignment sheet, I have to slightly correct my pervious post.
I'm running 0°28' total rear toe and the rest are basically the UK allignemt specs with front - 1°00' and rear - 2°00' chamber.
For me 0°25' - 0°28' total rear toe with 245 - 255 rear tires was kinda the sweet spot between stable and not to loose.
Hi guys
i am working on my suspension setup right now, and will be track testing it in 3 weeks.
I raise the car back at 20mm height drop (today is at 35mm drop).
I raise rear preload from my actual 10mm to the Sakebomb recommendation of 18 to 21mm.
I have new questions:
- what is the general best distribution of the shock stroke, between compression and rebound, for a road and track car. I ask this because I wonder if 21mm preload is not too much, leaving not enough shock rebound travel!
- do you guys have this rubber part between spring and shock head? Mine is cracking and may not last very long...
- last time I installed the coilovers, I made my best to setup the ride height on each corner individualy. This was a pain, and at the end the result was bad, I think due to my garage not being really leveled.
This time, I think I will just setup the coilovers on the table and not make any corner height adjustment. Is that idiot? Oem shock are just equal lengths side to side with not corner adjustments...

Thanks guys. I was trying to do the math beging the SBG chart, but I made mistakes forgetting the motion ratio of the arm, so I thought there was not enough rebound. I think SBG made better math than me
What about my last point: not cornering the ride height, instead of doing it bad...?
off car is better, get it to 2mm then install , mark dampers with pen or something,1 turn =1.5 mm i think?
note: with 21mm it will be difficult to hold dampers and achieve if not installed on car..
