Default Koni yellows...what would they improve?

I'm looking to increase the handling of my '06 S a bit..not much as
to me it's very capable for any speed you will do on a public street!

Still...just want to improve a hair..but the caveat? I don't want to
lower my car..as to me it's quite low enough OEM.

Still considering sticking CR springs with OEM dampers as I've heard some
people have had good results with this..and while I love Eibachs there
is still that 1 inch drop..was suggested to me Koni yellows..would
they improve my handling any or just improve the ride of the car?

I suppose an option with the Konis would be to install on the lower perch
thereby getting a litle bit(1/2inch) of a drop..which would be like
OEM height while dropping center-of-gravity!
thanks!

You might consider upgrading your front and rear sway bars to CR swaybars or Eibach Adjustable Anti-Sway Bars. That will keep your ride comfort yet reduce body roll which would improve the handling of the car.

It seems that you're asking if replacing the shocks will improve the handling.

Koni yellows are adjustable, so you can find your preference of softness and firmness of ride when you want. Spring rates have a lot to do with this also, so they should not be overlooked either.

TTMartin is also correct, by adding a larger front bar, you can calm down the rear end of the car significantly. If you want stock ride height and want to improve the handling without adding harshness, I would add a front sway bar and see if that does the trick for you.
