Lower Front X-Brace Increase Understeer on Stock Setup ?

I should clarify one thing, I'm not concerned too much about diagnosing all of my car's understeering, I don't mind a little bit of understeer as compared to oversteer for daily street driving it doesn't bother me and I can live with it.
It's just if the x-brace does nothing else but increase understeer a bit more than I have, then it's no use running one on my car and I'd probably be better off without it. I just wanted to confirm if x-braces on the lower front tend to increase understeer, and it seems that they might have a slight effect. I appreciate all of the replies thus far.

I put the spoon x-brace on my Ap2, which had bone stock suspension, other than Cr sways. I noticed an increase in understeer. But I liked the other positive effects, like an increased sense of stability crispier turn-in, etc.

ah cool, good to know I'm not the only person noticing some increased understeer with the bar, the car does feel a bit more stable with the bar too, thanks for the reply.
