Default X-brace question

Hello

I would like to get an x-brace for my beloved S and I am hesitating between 2 models right now:

Muz => https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=366496
Rick's => http://www.ricks2k.com/products/xbrace.php

For those of you who have an x-brace installed on your car, what would you recommend?

Otherwise, would a strut tower bar work better?

Thanks in advance for your inputs!

first mod I did was add the X brace from Rick. the install was easy, the quality of the part is fantastic. oil changes are a breeze. overall the front end of the car felt "tightened up" compared to stock.

Since it does nothing, and nobody will see it, get the cheaper one

I have the Spoon and its fine, the oil changes are a bit of a PITA, but considering its cheaper than the two you mentioned its worth it IMO. It doesn't make a big difference, but I could feel the difference on rough roads.

Was also wondering if a strut tower bar would work better than a x-brace

No. It really doesn't nothing other than look pretty on the S.

As for X-braces, I went with the Muz as the quality was awesome, and countless searches will come up with positive feedback for it. Also, like mentioned above it does not interfere with oil changes like the Spoon.

It actually does do something.

On the way back from the store it was lightly raining and I had little rain drops dancing and vibrating on the hood. An hour later after the install in the same light rain the rain drops were rock steady.

This tells me there was a flex that is no longer there.
