Default Lowering your car!

Just like everyone, I love the look of a lowered car. It makes a huge difference in your car's look.

My question is: How can you manage to lower your car, without losing is ride quality. In other words, I want to lower my car, not slam it, but have my drivability as smooth as stock!

Thanks for your help!

It's depends in the suspension u decide to use if ur just want lowering spring the best way to go is with either espelir or swift spec r they don't change ur ride quality that much

As long as you stay away from ebay brand you should be fine.

Or you could buy coilovers and get both looks and performance

I had coilover sleeves on my Accord before. They demolished the ride quality. I want to maintain that smooth factory ride quality. Lowering springs won't kill the shocks?
And as far as full coilovers, do they had smooth rides or rough rides?

Thanks again!

H&R is pretty ok on mine, with 215 front and 245 rear, oem tire sizes. I think it lowers it 2.5 cm.

not sleeves, actual coilovers...depends on the brand and how you have it setup...i have tein monoflexs and i can adjust the dampning rate, so i can make it smooth for the road and then tighten it up when i go to a track event or auto x event

You should go spend some time in the suspension section. There are tons of reviews and info out there reguarding this subject.

General concensus is if you want performance you will have to spend some money. Pretty much anything under $1000 is not going to give you much in the ways of performance.

Basically when you shorten the distance that the suspension can travel to do its job, you need a setup that can perform the same ammount of work (compression/rebound) in a shorter difference. Meaning somthing that is 2way or higher adjustable.
