Any idea the change in shock compression/rebound dampening from 01-02? SCC tested the 02 shocks and not the 00-01.

hmmm... it looks like the Espelir rears are progressive too. So much for people thinking Swift's were the only progressive ones. I'll basically be running progressive front and rear then. fails for response. haha. we'll see how it feels at the track this weekend.

To everyone who wants to get the CR spring rate while lowering the car, I can report after testing for 2 days on the track the Espelir rear springs on the front and Swift rear springs on the back work perfectly. They are both progressive, which helps to balance out the degressive spring rate that you get from the change in a shock's angle during compression.

The CR has these:
28.6xt4.5 / 26.5xt4.5

year front----------------rear
2000 51300-S2A-003 52300-S2A-013 28.2MMXT5.0 27.2MMXT5.3
2002 51300-S2A-013 52300-S2A-J01 26.5MMXT4.5 27.2MMX4.5T
2004 51300-S2A-023 52300-S2A-J02 26.5MMXT4.5 25.4MMX4.5

I don't have an idea, but I do know that my stock 01 rear has too much compression damping dialed in by Honda.

If you compare the shock dyno's for the rear of the 02-03 AP1, AP2, and CR published by SCC, you will notice that compression is low on the 02-03 AP1 but rebound is higher when compared to the AP2 and CR.

On the other hand we all know the rear spring rates on the 02-03 were higher than the AP2 and the 00-01 AP1.
