Need to replace dampers
I've got an 02 that needs new dampers.
1 - should I replace just the dampers with OEM 02 dampers?
2 - should I replace the dampers and springs with OEM 02 dampers & springs?
3 - should I replace just the dampers with CR dampers? (I have not heard of anyone doing this)
4 - should I replace the entire assemblies with CR assemblies?
I've got an aftermarket front swaybar, do you feel it is necessary to change the front & rear swaybars when going to the CR suspension?
Thanks for your help!

Why do you think you need new dampers? As far as I know springs don't really wear out. I have a my 03 and was thinking of going with cr dampers but haven't got a ton of feedback of if its worth it. So first I want to go with just the spring and can always go cr later.
I've got a few that appear to be leaking fluid for a while, and I've started getting an inconsistent vibration at various highway speeds that a rebalance didn't resolve. I've got 130k on the car, and shocks do wear out, especially if they start leaking fluid.
I've got a track event coming up in June, and want to replace before then.
I've read many going to the CR setup, but also heard it raises the car, and is a little harsher ride in everyday use.
I have no issues with the way my car has handled in the past, but I think I might be noticing the shocks causing some stability issues (or maybe it's just me getting old). That's one reason I'm thinking of sticking with stock.
Springs do wear, they will tend to settle a bit over time, providing you with less compression travel, and possibly less spring rate(not sure on that).
Obviously, the cheapest thing to do would be to just replace the oem dampers and reuse everything else.

What's the use of the car? For street, I'd definitely recommend Koni yellows, much more comfy at soft setting. And they cost the same as, if not less than, new stock units. Check out my review thread My linkhttps://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/1011512-cr-springs-koni-yellow-review-ap1/
The Koni's need very minor drilling to make work.
