Im also looking to rebuild them at the same time. Not sure whats involved with the revalve but maybe I can skip the rebuild process?

if the shock is gonna be apart, no since not doing the rebuild, which i think is almost usually done anyways with a "revalve"
Revalve will change the damper characteristics, get tossed on a the machine to make sure they perform,...rebuild will replace the o rings and other parts that wear overtime.
