Default not adjusting coils correctly?

first off, im a noob at coilovers... i apoligize! looking for some educating though!

I bought mine with pss9's already installed. unfortunately they don't go as low as I'd like... but I'm wondering if it's bc they weren't adjusted right to begin with?

I've read that most coilovers height are adjusted via the actual strut/coilover body, and not the spring. can anyone confirm that the pss9s are the same... meaning you should lower via the coil's body first rather than the spring collar?

thanks for any help

Bilsteins only use the spring perch to set ride height. There is not an adjustable lower section. If the spring perch is all the way at the bottom of the threads, that's as low as they go.

PSS9s are awesome.

edit: My PSS setup can drag the body..? I have about a few inches left on both perches and my car is one finger gap around...

You can try using shorter length springs to achieve lower ride heights. Be careful to stay off the bump stops when lowering past what they were originally capable of.

Bilsteins use 70mm (or 2.75") ID springs. The standard spring rates are 345 lb/in front and 285 lb/in rear, if I'm not mistaken.

Good luck.
