OEM rear brakes Redstuff on the front
Want to change my stock oem brakes (rotors and pads) for ebc redstuff, cant just change the front first and do the rears when they need changing or do i have to change them all over at the same time (the rear OEMs are in good nick)
In my opinion, dont buy anything else other than OE rotors and pads. They are the best. I was about to pull the trigger on some aftermarket rotors simply for looks but there are too many testimonies on how there was no performance improvement and some cheaper brand rotors CRACKED. I put all fresh rotors and pads on my S at 120k and had to make an emergency stop a couple weeks later. Stopped on a dime.
Modding is fun but for the braking system, its best you leave it how it was engineered to be.

^^^ what he said. Plus if you want more bite you could upgrade the pads.
I track my car few times a years and i run oem disc and hp+ pads. I saw a couple of s2k friends craking disc with aftermarket disc. Even the brembo.

thanks guys, Sylvain, do you mean hawk performance when you say HP + ? My OE pads lasted about 15k miles and had some fade which was a bit frustrating. Do either of you guys recommend a hose change out for braided ones?
Yes hawks hp+ pads are "track days" pads that work great on the streets. They are noisy and dusty doh. I have been running that setup for years. I have tried twice aftermarket disc. Both powerslot and brembo warped at the track.
