I have an 05. My girlfriend just got me the CR front sway bar. I will be installing it shortly. I don't know how much I will be able to tell you as I don't auto cross and there is snow on the ground right now. So it looks like I won't be driving the S anytime soon. Come spring you can bet there will be some group canyon runs though!

What are the opinions on cheaper sway bars like swift or tanabe? Is it worth the upgrade if you can't afford others?

I have the Comptech adjustable bar. Having the option of changing the stiffness is great especially when auto X'n

yes but again those are swaybars nearing 1K, we need to know about the cheaper units, please are there any owners out there willing to chime in, I spent a good amount of time searching the race threads for info on these cheaper setups and so far I think it's ok if you are auto-xing to beat the band... but i do want some knowledgable opinions...

^^i was planning on going with Swift as well just because i like their springs and after doing some research on them, they seem like a company that does their homework and puts a lot of effort into manufacturing quality products.

heres another good question, is the upgrade to the CR swaybars worth the effort? they dont seam to cost that much and if they are a bit more stiff it would be a bargain?

Still no answers

i've heard for every 1mm bigger the sway bar that you get 6x's the stiffness. im not sure as to how true that is but if the Comptech is a 32mm and the CR is a 28.6, depending on the stock front sway bar the difference in the size from stock to whatever you are upgrading to will be the main notice.
