Ohlins DFV Shocks installed

For my application, I'm fine with the rates as is. This is my daily driver, and I'll use it to take LONG road trips in the summer. It will probably only see the track 4-5 times a year at most ... no point in totally track-biasing the setup given my usage.
That's also why it's got Michelin Pilot Super Sports on it instead of RE11s or similar tires.

yup. And I also have an Eibach front sway I run on full stiff. OEM rear bar. The car honestly feels great. Only reason I was looking to possible up the rates was because a lot of the successful track/autocross guys run rates about where I wanted to be. I think I'm at a really good place that allows for dual use.

With a stock front sway it would probably be fine. My change in rates have actually closed the gap on front/rear rate difference. It's around 120lbs difference off the shelf and I'm down to just 100lbs difference.
I wouldn't hesitate to run the car just like it is even on a staggered setup. Would probably ditch the front sway or at least back it down to the softer setting.

That fact they can't do the higher rates is my only complaint about the DFV. Would love to be able to run something around 750ish up front and 650ish in the rear but I think it's just too much of a jump on the factory valving.
The AST out of the box is probably able to take a little more spring without a revalve.

I think the valving on the ASTs are supposed to be good for up to around 900#. I don't get my panties all excited for dyno plots, shock builders know a lot more about the shocks and can offer better insight. I'm tempted to get mine converted to 4250s when it becomes available, but time will tell.
Don't tell Austin at GT Motoring that I haven't installed them and already am thinking of screwing with spring rates within the next few months...
